Thinking about how modern businesses are built.
Some grow. Some stall. A few become exceptional. I explore the people, decisions and numbers behind the difference.
There is more to a business than a good idea.
I have always been curious about what happens after the idea. Why some founders build companies that keep getting stronger while others with equally promising ideas struggle to move forward.
Sometimes it is the market. Sometimes it is timing. Often, it comes down to decisions about people, money, growth and what deserves attention next.
This is where I work through those questions and decisions, and try to understand what separates an interesting idea from an enduring business.
The questions I keep coming back to.
Where should the next rupee go?
Growth creates more choices, not fewer. I’m interested in how founders decide what deserves capital, attention and time when everything cannot be a priority. I look at where the next rupee can create the most leverage, and what needs to be true before spending it.
What makes a good business become an exceptional one?
A strong product can get a company started. Exceptional businesses usually need more than that. The harder question is whether the business can keep getting stronger through better economics, stronger distribution, smarter decisions and advantages that compound over time.
When does attention become a real business advantage?
An audience can make distribution easier, but attention alone is not a moat. I’m interested in what turns trust, reach and community into something that can grow beyond the person who created it.

Working closely with a startup made me curious about what really drives growth.
That curiosity pulled me deeper into how businesses operate, evolve and choose what to prioritise next.
That’s the space I enjoy most, where finance, operations and business decisions come together.
Building something interesting?
I'm always up for a thoughtful conversation about businesses, creators, technology and growth.
